Radio Play

• Scripts must be 15 minutes or less
• Entries submitted on line. No paper entries.
• Submission deadline: Midnight October 5th 2019
• Entries should be single-sided, double spaced and in 12 point text
• Please include page numbers, a title page and cast list
• Please include a short synopsis
• Send scripts in Word format (not a PDF)

Themed Play

• Scripts must be 10 minutes or less
• No more than 3 cast members
• Include the words… “ INSIDE OUT “
• Entries submitted on line. No paper entries.
• Submission deadline: Midnight October 5th 2019
• Entries should be single-sided, double spaced and in 12 point text
• Please include page numbers, a title page and cast list
• Please include a short synopsis

Young Writer

• Writers must be 18 or under on October 5th
• Scripts must be 10 minutes or less
• Include no more than 3 cast members
• Entries submitted on line. No paper entries.
• Submission deadline: Midnight October 5th 2019
• Entries should be single-sided, double spaced and in 12 point text
• Please include page numbers, a title page and cast list
• Please include a short synopsis
• Send scripts in Word format (not a PDF)

We recommend that casts are kept to 5 or less actors, these plays will be produced in a Festival environment so set and props should be kept to a minimum. We ask for no more than one script entry per category.

INK is delighted to receive scripts from everyone, whatever their age or experience, and champions work in-particular from writers with past or present links to East Anglia. 

For 2020 however, submissions are now open to the rest of the U.K and beyond!

We would also particularly like to encourage submissions which comply to the BECHDEL Test and from every ethnicity.
