Our call for submissions for WWF2020 is now open! We are open for submissions for our 14th Women's Work Festival that will be taking place March 9-12 2020 in St. John's Newfoundland Canada.
To apply, submit an electronic copy of the following before midnight on November 1st, 2019:
- A letter of application, including a little about your history as a playwright and what your goals would be for the workshop and reading time provided by the festival. Please include your telephone number, email address and mailing address.
-A full draft of your play. The length of play is up to you but we do not accept submissions of partial drafts.
-A short synopsis of the plot (1-2 paragraphs).
-A cast list with full breakdown of characters, including indication of double casting possibilities
Send documents in either Microsoft Word or PDF format to womensworkfestivalNL@gmail.com (put 'WWF20 Submission' in the subject line). Applications will be juried by a reading committee of at least three members. Please note that the Women’s Work Festival does not provide feedback on submissions. All applicants will be notified by email before Christmas.
