This effort is sponsored by Project Y Theatre Company, NYC. All submitted plays will be considered for professional production with Project Y in NYC. In addition, the Project Y Co-Artistic directors are theater professors at Carnegie Mellon University and Middlebury College, respectively, and are in search of material to use with their classes.

These new works will also be gathered, organized, and through Google Drive made available for anyone, nationally or internationally, who seeks to use this for educational reasons: teachers, theatre companies, coaches, community organizations, academic institutions, etc. Given the national demand for material like this for use in educational settings, having younger characters might be beneficial, but certainly not required.
