Before we get to the data for the week ending March 26th/21 let’s review last weeks number so we know exactly how many shots were given this past week. And keep in mind it's very clearly shown in the Canadian data that there is a lag in information being provided. Going back 3 weeks. This information is always a week behind- But the information provided is lagging 3 weeks. Which is a cause for concern

Canada’s Weekly Harm And Injury Covid Vaccine Report- 24 Dead With Vaccine (covering information up to March 19/21)

The adverse reactions and deaths have marched in step with the vaccinations given:

“Up to and including March 26, 2021, a total of 26 reports identified deaths that occurred after the administration of a vaccine. Following medical case review, it has been determined that 14 of these deaths are not linked to a COVID-19 vaccine and the other 12 are still under investigation. When the investigation is complete, the number will be updated accordingly”

Last week there had been 24 identified deaths- By my calculations, based on Canada’s official information, the total deaths thus far is 122- The 98 from last several weeks running total, plus 24, equals 122.   

*As of March 19/21 the total doses administered stood at : 3,729,312
*As of this latest update March 26/21 doses administered stands at 4,800, 931
*Making the number of total injections this past week  1,071,619

* 247 New adverse event following immunization reports since last update

(186 new non-serious and 61 new serious)

* 2,859 Total adverse event following immunization reports

(0.060% of all doses administered)

* 2,475 Total adverse event following immunization reports that were non-serious

 (0.052% of all doses administered)

384 Total adverse event following immunization reports that were serious

(0.008% of all doses administered)

4,800,931= Total doses administered

60 cases of Anaphylaxis reported this past week. 

Spot the contradiction?

Figure 2 shows the breakdown of reports by vaccine name. For doses administered by vaccine type, please visit the Vaccination Coverage report. COVID-19 vaccines approved for use in Canada currently include: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, COVISHIELD (a version of the AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute of India and sponsored in Canada by Verity Pharmaceuticals Inc.) and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson). While AstraZeneca and Janssen vaccines have been approved for use in Canada, they had not yet been distributed during this reporting period. 

Covishield is the Astra Zeneca vaccine manufactured in India. How can Health Canada say the Astra Zeneca vaccine has not been distributed? When it has. Just under another name (Covi shield)

Take note as well that the data lag extends far longer then one should or would expect:

 The data including March 13 to to March 25th is incomplete. This is April 03/21.
