  Yes, President Joe Biden recognized the "genocide" and he did it solemnly, while not mentioning the role of the Kurds, which is widely known and acknowledged. Let us go back to 2015, 6 years ago,  and this report: Kurds Fully Participate in Generational Assyrian/ Armenian Christian Genocides

The ugliness of war hasn't changed at all- Same then as now.

 Like politics. (the actions or activities concerned with achieving and using power in a country or society)  Biden's latest is the politics of power in motion. Of manipulation and an intent to assert devious influence. 

All of these types of recognition's are political. They’re done, always, to play into wider political agendas. I’ve yet to see or read of one time when this is not the case. And that includes the Jewish “holocaust”. A recognition that is given specifically to one group, one could say it’s now employed like a ™ while others who suffered in the same manner are ignored and/or derided. It’s politics. Plain and simple. If it’s politically expedient a recognition of some long done deed is brought to the forefront.  Wounds are opened or reopened in order to affect and/or manipulate what is going on present time. It's really that obvious.

 It’s been clear Turkey has been targeted by the US for some time now. 

Therefore this recognition was an inevitable part of that perception managing/destabilizing targeting of a nation. We’ve all seen this type of activity previously. And we witness it present time too.

Recently: It's Official the US Omits Turkey From the F-35 program

• The New Istanbul Kanal- Montreaux Accord & Belt and Road (Silk Road) Infrastructure Project 

• The Black Sea Boils: The US Moves Against Turkish/Russian Realpolitikal Cooperation

 Hand wringing over Montreaux boils down to this simple fact

The real problem for NATO is Montreaux does not apply to the Istanbul Canal.

Consider this?
*Turkey and Russia working together in multiple geographic locations including but not limited to Syria. Libya and..       
* Turkey’s partnering, again, with Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan to work towards stabilizing the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
* Turkey’s plan to build the Istanbul Canal with Russia and China on board
* Turkey’s cooperation with Iran
* Turkey purchasing the S-400's
* Remember that the US has been partnering with the PKK in Turkey. Syria and Iraq. Iran as well.   
The PKK and Their US Allies: Detailing Letters to Presidents & Military Meetings Between the Friends        

* US and friends had a definite role in the attempted coup against Erdogan
* Did everything it could to stir the pot in Armenia, recently. Working against the peace. And heavily involved in  the ‘velvet revolution’ with saw the US friendly Pashinyan installed.

Consider the fact that after Russia, with the help of Turkey and Iran, brought some semblance of peace between the nations of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The US and it's ally in France were very displeased and they made it known.  Further realizing that this resolution of the Nagarno Karabakh issue was NEVER going to be allowed to stand. So fanning the Armenian fires is the way to go.

Al Jazeera: April 24/21 President Biden Recognises the Armenian Genocide

United States President Joe Biden has formally recognised the mass killing of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during World War I as a “genocide”, a move that was immediately rejected by Turkey.

In a statement on Saturday, Biden became the first US president to formally recognise the killings of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, which began in 1915, as an act of “genocide”.
               
“The American people honor all those Armenians who perished in the genocide that began 106 years ago today.”

Biden’s declaration comes amid strained ties between the US and Turkey, which had earlier warned that recognising the killings as a genocide would further harm relations between the NATO allies.

Turkey has acknowledged the deaths of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during World War I, but has steadfastly denied that the killings were systematically orchestrated and constitute a genocide.

In a statement, Turkey’s foreign ministry rejected Biden’s statement as being without any “scholarly and legal basis” and said the conditions required to describe the events as a “genocide” are not met under international law.

“The nature of the events of 1915 does not change according to the current political motives of  of the politicians or domestic political considerations. Such an attitude serves only a vulgar distortion of history,” the ministry said.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also tweeted: “We have nothing to learn from anybody on our own past.”            

And while Biden plays the recognition card.. Pashinyan makes ready for a “Snap Election” Timing? April 25/21*  Pashinyan’s faction nominates him for PM to trigger snap election

Pashinyan told Biden the symbolic decision was a matter of security to Armenia after the six week conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, in which Turkey backed Armenia's neighbor Azerbaijan, where the ethnic Armenian-populated enclave is located. 

Nagorno Karabakh was always internationally recognized Azerbaijani territory- Occupied by Armenia.

The "genocide" recognition and the triggering of elections in Armenia are not a coincidence. They were planned to work together Pashinian has a strong election card to play..
