Troy Foundry Theatre, a 501(c) 3 professional theatre company in Troy, NY is currently accepting submissions of new plays for the OCTOBER sessions of the DARK DAY MONDAYS FREE READING SERIES. The selected plays will be presented in staged reading format with the possibility of being considered for full staging in the 19.20 season. Please see below for details and submission directions.
2018 OCTOBER SESSIONS – THE SUPERNATURAL
This session will specifically highlight plays that focus on the supernatural (whatever that means to you). The submitted play needs to be recently written and possibly never staged before. We are not interested in monologues. There are no restrictions on script-length or subject. To learn more about past DARK DAY MONDAY events, visit www.troyfoundrytheatre.com.
SUBMISSION DIRECTIONS:
Submissions for the OCTOBER 2018 session will be accepted until 5pm on MONDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2018. To submit your work email to info@troyfoundrytheatre.com with the subject line:
OCTOBER supernatural playwright session_FIRST NAME LAST NAME_ TITLE OF PLAY.
There is NO submission fee. Please include a short playwright’s bio, a production history of the piece, and the play in PDF or WORD doc format. You will only hear back from us if your play is selected for reading.
