WTF is passionate about supporting, creating, and producing extraordinary work by women+. We are now accepting submissions for our 2020-2021 season, Women Are Family. Submissions must be full-length, and must be received by 8/15/19 to receive consideration. Please click "submit now" for additional information and to submit your work.
Women's Theatre Festival is seeking submissions for its 2020-2021 season: Women Are Family. Plays submitted must adhere to this theme, which is defined broadly: biological families, the family you choose, family in the sense of LGBTQIA+ or other communities with strong ties that bind. Positive, negative, and complicated depictions are all welcomed. All genres will be considered; all submissions must be full-length. Playwrights must identify as female or non-binary. Plays must feature a minimum of 50% female or non-binary speaking roles, and must be able to be cast with a minimum of 50% actors of color. Playwrights featured in the Mainstage season will receive compensation. Please note, if you have previously submitted the same work to WTF, do not submit it again here; your work is already on file.
