• Happy freezing cold Earth Day!

We do have a chance for warmth now.  The Pacific plumes are coming straight in. You can see the residual of the high plumes that gave us a Yukon Clipper.  But now the plumes have changed their pattern again, and are trying to come straight in.  They are smashing against our cold air right now, but hopefully they win the battle.  If we get a combination of BC westerlies and the Gulf warm air, then we can have Spring.

Global Warming? I laugh.

• Windsor breaks 1950 cold weather record April 22

"You could be forgiven if you're not sure what time of year it is — ice pellets were in the air again Tuesday and Wednesday morning as Windsor set a cold-weather record.

The temperature slumped to -3.5 C, breaking the mark of -2.8 C set in 1950.
Environment Canada meteorologist Peter Kimbell said an arctic air mass is to blame.

"We're all waiting for the summer warmth to come, even if we can't go very far," he said. "We all want to go outside at least and enjoy the warmth, so yeah. It's just unfortunate that we're still stuck in this pattern of colder temperatures."

Enough of this nonsense already!

As mentioned we've got tomatoes started. Lettuce, Herbs. And we're going to start peas to get ready for planting- the can take the cool- not the freakin' frigid! 

And finally we were wondering where Greeda was. Like a recurring nightmare... She's back.
