Reverb is a space for artists with disabilities ages 16+ to devise and share new works of theatre on a virtual platform.

This application form includes the following sections:

• Applicant artist information (details about you)
• Artistic submission (the performance piece or script you are submitting)
• Acknowledgements (details about the festival and your participation)

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must be people who identify as artists with disabilities. We seek to include as wide and diverse a range of artists as possible. People of color, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. 
• Applicants must be age 16+. 
• Applicants must submit a draft piece of theatre based on creative prompts around the theme of Connection: Performance pieces (original monologue, spoken word, dance* or music selection*) must be 5 minutes maximum. Scripts must be 5 pages maximum. 
• Applicants must be available for Festival and meeting dates, listed below.

*Dance pieces must be performed to original music. Music selections must be original work. Contact reverb@roundabouttheatre.org if you have any questions.

Reverb’s Timeline:
Monday, November 30, 2020 through Thursday, March 25, 2021 

• Submission Deadline: Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:59pm EST
• Announcement of Selected Participants: Friday, January 15, 2021
• Kick-off Community Meeting for Participants and Collaborating Artists: Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm EST
• Artistic Collaboration Period: Tuesday, January 19, 2021 through Thursday, February 11, 2021
• Mid-Point Community Sharing for Participants and Collaborating Artists: Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm EST
• Rehearsal and Recording period: Thursday, February 11, 2021 through Friday, February 26, 2021
• Recording Submission Deadline: Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:59pm EST
• Virtual Festival Screening: Video available from Monday, March 22, 2021 onwards
• Artist Talkback: EST Evening of Thursday, March 25, 2021
