Deadline: May 23, 2023

Theatre Arlington is looking for a wide range of play selections that represent our entire community.

Underrepresented voices and BIPOC authors are strongly encouraged to submit their works.

Plays accepted March 23 through May 23, 2023

Winner will be announced July 27, 2023

A staged reading for the winning play will be September 22 & 23, 2023 at Theatre Arlington’s Play-Reading Club

Reading will be directed and performed by theater professionals.

The playwright will be invited to participate in a talkback after the show

Submissions Guidelines:

Standard play formatting

Cast size 6 or less actors. 1 or 2 acts – approximately 90 minutes in length total

Extremely graphic material will not be considered

Playwrights May Send A Paper Copy Of Their Script To:
